Education
MA-Masters of Art and Design MEPhi RU 2007-2013
I was classically trained in Fine Arts with additional specialisation in Graphic Design. This 6-year course was developed by teaching members of Russian Art Society and included 6 years of Art History study, 4 years of Art Propaedeutics study, and 2 years of in-depth Graphic Design studies. This course was channelled to strengthen professional skills in illustration, painting, and drawing.
Upon the completion of the course, the final project was individually assigned to be researched and developed under the curation of the chosen mentor. The Master's Degree was awarded in cases where the assignment was demonstrating strong knowledge of the subject, based on creative research and the ability to art direct every part of the project to achieve a cohesive look.
These qualifications allow me to collaborate with brands as Art Director as well as a contemporary artist.
UNDERGRADUATE COURSE: Art Portfolio RU 2006-2007
A 1-year part-time course allowed me to access the professional facilities of the chosen institute and receive individual mentoring on art skills. This study was orgonised in conjunction with supervisors, who monitor students' progress in academic drawing (figure/portrait/still-life), painting (watercolour/gouache /acrylic), and advanced research in composition. The course is a personal development non-mandatory study programme.
SECONDARY ART SCHOOL RU 2002-2005
This is an additional scholar art programme for teenagers, that I entered at the age of 12.
A 4-year course is designed to establish an initial knowledge of colour study, art techniques, and composition. During my study, I attended an art studio 2-3 times a week where I practiced academic drawing and painting. Upon the completion of the course, an exhibition was set to demonstrate the ability to paint using watercolour and acrylic and draw a human figure in dynamic and stationary poses. Secondary Art School is an essential first step in professional art study.
